Abstract
Razvoj električnih vozila kroz povijest nailazio je na niz tehnoloških poteškoća, ponajviše u razvoju baterija. Danas je razvoj električnog vozila vrlo bitan za svijet zbog očuvanja ekologije, smanjenje emisija i očuvanje sve manjih zaliha nafte i ostalih neobnovljivih izvora. U odnosu na konvencionalna vozila pogonjena fosilnim gorivima, električna vozila nude veću energetsku iskoristivost, čime prednjače u smanjenju ovisnosti o fosilnim gorivima. Osnovni princip rada električnog vozila temelji se na korištenju električne energije pohranjene u baterije, koja se dobija različitim načinima kod Hibridnih i Plug-In vozila, putem sunca, vodika, dušika i ostalih obnovljivih izvora energije. Baterije su u posljednjih nekoliko godina napredovala u razvoju, što doprinosi kretanju i autonomiji vozila, te utječe na razvoj infrastrukture električnih punionica. Ovim radom prikazana je povjest razvoja električnog vozila, prednosti i nedostatci kao i njegov napredak u razvoju komponenti kod dizajna, baterija, elektronike i ostalih komponenti, te njegovi utjecaji i doprinosi zaštiti okoliša

The evolution of electric vehicles throughout history came across a number of technological obstacles, mostly in the development of battery. Today, the development of electric vehicles is very important for the world to preserve the ecology, reducing emissions and preserving stocks of oil and other non-renewable resources. Compared with conventional vehicles powered by fossil fuels, electric vehicles offer greater energy efficiency, thus leading to the reduction of dependence on fossil fuels. The basic principle of electric vehicles based on the electricity stored in batteries, which is obtained by the different ways in Hybrid and Plug-in vehicles, through the sun, hydrogen, nitrogen and other renewable energy sources. In recent years, batteries are advanced, which contributes to the movement and the autonomy of the vehicle, and the impacot on infrastructure development of electric filling stations. This work presents the history of the development of electric vehicles, strengths and weaknesses as well as its progress in the development of components in the design, battery, electronics and other components, and its impacts and contribudion to the environment
