Abstract
Zadatak ovog rada jest praktična primjena algoritma roja čestica na problem optimizacije naponskih prilika i gubitaka snage u distribucijskim mrežama. Za rješavanje tog problema koristi se programski paket MATLAB. Algoritam prilagođen navedenom problemu primjenjen je na dvije različite distribucijske zamkaste mreže. Metoda kojom se optimiraju naponske prilike i gubici snage u mreži je postavljanje optimalne snage distributivne proizvodnje na optimalni položaj. Simulacija je za obje mreže provedena u tri slučaja: pronalaženje optimalnog položaja i snage distributivne proizvodnje, pronalaženje optimalne snage distributivne proizvodnje uz fiksni položaj, te pronalaženje optimalne snage distributivne proizvodnje koja je pritom postavljena na sabirnicu s najmanjim naponom. Rezultati simulacija pokazuju kako je, ukoliko se žele smanjiti gubici snage u mreži i pritom poboljšati naponske prilike, od iznimne važnosti pronaći osim optimalne snage i optimalni položaj distributivne proizvodnje u mreži.

Parallel abstract (English)
Solving the problem of optimization of voltage profile and power loss in distribution networks with the applied methods of soft computing is the objective of this thesis. MATLAB software package is used for solving that problem. An adjusted algorithm for solving that problem was applied on two different distribution interconnected networks. Voltage profiles and power losses are being optimized with optimal placement and sizing of distributed generation. Simulation is carried out for three cases: finding optimal size and location of distributed generation, finding optimal size of distributed generation with fixed place, and finding optimal size of distributed generation which is placed on the bus with the lowest voltage. Simulation results showed that if the objective is minimization of power losses and improvement of voltage profiles, it is of a great importance that optimal location and optimal size of distributed generation is found.
