Abstract
U ovom radu je izvršen pregled i izvedbe sinkronih strojeva, odnosno korištenje sinkronih strojeva u pogonu. Dani su osnovni podaci o konstrukciji, vrstama i podjelama sinkronih strojeva, te princip rada sinkronih strojeva u pogonskim stanjima unutar elektroenergetskog sustava. Također u radu su prikazani sustavi uzbude sinkronih strojeva i način reguliranja napona sinkronog stroja. Na kraju ovog diplomskog rada je izvršena simulacija sinkronog stroja u pogonskom stanju uz pomoć softverskog paketa DIgSILENT. Ključne riječi: sinkroni stoj, kratki spoj sinkronog stroja, prazan hod sinkronog stroja, pogonska karta, sustavi uzbude sinkronog stroja, automatska regulacija uzbude.

In this thesis are presented the performance and features of synchronous machines, or the use of synchronous machines in operation. There are given some basic information about the construction, types and division of synchronous machines and the working principle of synchronous machines in operating conditions in the power system. Also in the paper are the excitation systems of synchronous machines and the manner of regulating the voltage of the synchronous machine. At the end of this thesis is performed simulation synchronous machine in operating condition with the help of a software package DIgSILENT.
