Abstract
U ovome diplomskom radu uspješno je prenesena informacija vidljivim svjetlom. Komunikacijski sustav vidljivim svjetlom sastoji se od sklopova predajnika i prijemnika te programa koji služi za komunikaciju između tih sklopova putem računala. Kao izvor svjetlosti koristila se LED lampa koja emitira bijelu svjetlost kako bi se predstavili što sličniji uvjeti rasvjeti prostorije. Postignuti su zadovoljavajući rezultati tj. prijenos podataka na udaljenosti većoj od 180 cm. Ovakav sustav nije komplicirano implementirati u već korištenu rasvjetu. LED žarulje imaju dugi vijek trajanja, osvijetljenost je nužna u gotovo svim uvjetima rada, stoga bi ovakav komunikacijski sustav mogao imati široku primjenu; od ureda, bolnica, rasvjete na ulicama, zrakoplovima i nuklearnim elektranama gdje korištenje Wi-Fi i sličnih tehnologija može prouzročiti smetnje elektroničkih uređaja.

In this thesis information has been successfully transmitted via visible light. Visible light communication system consists of a transmitter and receiver circuits and software that is used for communication between the circuits via computer. As a light source a LED lamp that emits white light was used in order to present as much as possible the lighting conditions of a room. Results that are achieved are satisfying, i.e. data transmission distance is achieved over 180cm.This system is not very complicated to implement in already used lighting. LED lamps have a long life, brightness is required in almost all environments, in other words this communication system could have a wide application; offices, hospitals, lighting in the streets, aircraft and nuclear power plants, where the use of Wi-Fi and similar technologies may interfere with electronic devices
