Abstract
U ovom radu je opisana upotreba bipolarnog tranzistora kao sklopke. Rad se sastoji od dva dijela, teorijskog djela i simulacije. Teorijski dio se odnosi na poluvodičke elemente općenito, PN spoj i detaljan opis rada bipolarnog tranzistora kao pojačala i sklopke. U simulaciji su korištena tri različita bipolarna tranzistora i pomoću osciloskopa su snimane strujne i naponske karakteristike. Potrebno je snimiti i izmjeriti vrijeme prijelaznih pojava pri istom naponu i frekvenciji upravljačkog signala kako bi se mogli usporediti rezultati. Prijelazne pojave struja i napona pojedinih tranzistora, kao i njihovo trajanje, ovise od tehnologije izrade, čistoće poluvodiča i količine dodanih primjesa.

Parallel abstract (English)
This thesis describes the usage of a bipolar transistor as a switch. The thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical part and the simulation. The theoretical part refers to a general description of semiconductors, PN junction and a detailed description of the bipolar transistor as an amplifier and a switch. For the simulation three different bipolar transistors are used and oscilloscope is used for the recording of the current and voltage characteristics. It is required to measure and record the time for the transients at the same voltage ans frequency of the control signal so that the times can be compared. Transients currents and voltages of individual transistors, as well as their duration, depend on the technology development, the purity of the semiconductor and the amount of added impurities.
