Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu opisano je GIS postrojenje, kroz povijesni razvoj, kao i izolacijski medij SF6. U poglavlju 3, opisane su prijelazne pojave, kao i kvarovi uzrokovani prijelaznim pojavama. U poglavlju 4. GIS postrojenje modelirano je u programskom paketu ATP. Simulacijom dobiveni valni oblici prijelaznih prenapona, također su prikazani u poglavlju 4.

Parallel abstract (English)
In this graduate work are described historical development of Gas Insulated Substations, and insulation medium SF6. Transients and faults caused by them are described in Chapter 3. In Chapter 4, GIS is modeled in ATP computer program. By simulating the resulting waveforms of transient overvoltages, graphs are presented in Chaper 4.
