Abstract	U ovom radu opisani su distribuirani sustavi, te njihov rad u stvarnom vremenu. Polazište je opis industrijskih procesa, mjerenja i upravljanje automatiziranih sustava. U radu su opisane razine distributivnih sustava, te osnovni dijelovi mreže distribuiranih sustava i usporedba sa SCADA sustavima. Ovaj rad potkrijepljen je primjerima sustava za upravljanje elektranama u stvarnom vremenu, u kojem je opisana kontrola, rad i komunikacija jednih od najpouzdanijih sustava.
Abstract (english)	This paper describes distributed systems, and their real-time operation. The starting point is a description of industrial processes, measurement and control of automated systems. The paper describes different distribution systems, basic parts of distributed system networks and a comparison with SCADA systems. This paper is supported by an example of a real-time power plant management system, which describes the control, operation and communication of some of the most reliable systems.
