Abstract
S obzirom da je dijagram zračenja monopola i dipola širok, potrebno je prikazati što usmjereniji dijagram zračenja antene. Prikazano je rješavanje problema pomoću PSO algoritma, korištenog u programskom paketu Matlab. Pri rješavanju problema i nalaženja optimalne točke uz minimiziranje kuta usmjerenosti bila je funkcija cilja algoritma. Ispitivanje se radilo na dipolu i monopolu pri određenim ograničenjima faktora !, faktora " i promera p. Rezultati su prikazani na primjeru linearne žičane antene – monopola i dipola. Rad pokazuje da se pomoću PSO algoritma mogu rješavati složeni problemi, kao što je optimizacija određenih parametara antene.

Since monopole and dipole radiation pattern is wide, it is necessary to obtain narrower antenna radiation pattern. Solving that problem with PSO algorithm, used in MATLAB software package, is described. Solving problem and finding optimal point while minimizing half power beamwidth is task of fitness function of algorithm. Testing is on certain antenna factor !, factor ! and length. Results are on linear wire antenna – monopole and dipole shown. This work demonstrates that using PSO algorithm can solve complex problems, like optimization of some antenna parameters.
