Parallel abstract (English) | Nuclear power plant is a facility where energy released from the nuclear reactor, which works on the principle of controlled chain reaction, is used to produce steam that drives the turbine of the electric generator. Fission is kept under control, the number of neutrons in the reactor is controlled. The neutron-binding energy for heavy cores is around 7.2 MeV and for medium mass cores is around 8.2 MeV. So the fission process releases 1 MeV energy by neutron, how is the total number of neutrons around 200, in one fission process is released around 200 MeV of energy. In the introductory part is given a description of basic reactions related to nuclear power plants. In main part of the work is shown how are nuclear reactors devided in III and IV generations. In final part is made thermodynamic Rankine-ov cycle analysis for two reactors, reactor cooled and moderated by boiling water and high temperature reactor, then I compared the results |
