Abstract
U ovom radu izvršen je pregled generatora koji imaju primjenu u vjetroelektranama.Kroz pet poglavlja od kojih se sastoji ovaj rad predstavljen je povijesni pregled razvitkavjetroelektrana. Predstavljeni su različiti koncepti, osnovni dijelovi te trenutno stanje na tržištu.Posebno je naglašena važnost energetske elektronike jer je ona omogućila uvođenjevjetroelektrana s promjenjivom brzinom vrtnje te shodno tome povećala broj primjenjivihgeneratora. U radu je iznesena usporedba vjetroparka s primjenom asinkronog i sinkronoggeneratora kroz proračune struja trofaznog kratkog spoja. Sustavi vjetroelektrana sa svojimdaljnjim razvojem vode poprimanju karakteristika elektrana.

Parallel abstract (English)
This paper carried out overview of applicable generators in wind power plants. The paperdescribed historical development of wind power, presented various concepts, basic parts andcurrent situation on the market through five chapters. Variable rotation speed wind power plantcannot be realised without power electronics and that`s why power electronics was especiallyemphasized. As a result power electronis increased number of applicable generators in windenergy. Paper described comparison between asynchronous and synchronous generator throughthree phase short-circuit faults calculations. Wind power plants systems with their furtherdevelopment might become a characteristic of a typical power plant.
