Abstract
Rad se bavi analizom trofaznog asinkronog kaveznog elektromotora metodom konačnih elemenata koristeći programski paket Ansys-Maxwell kako bi se dobio detaljan uvid u rad elektromotora Končar 750W tip „5 AZ 80 A-2“. Korištenje programskog paketa Ansys-Maxwell daje velike mogućnosti za poboljšanje rada postojećih elektromotora, jer se u kratkom vremenu mogu dobiti informacije o radu elektromotora pri promjeni jednog ili više parametara stroja. Detaljnim računalnim simulacijama asinkronog kaveznog elektromtora prilikom projetkiranja smanjuju se troškovi proizvodnje prototipa.

Final thesis deals with finite element method analysis of three phase induction motor using Ansys-Maxwell program package. Thesis main goal is to obtain detailed information about operation of induction motor Končar 750 W type „5 AZ 80 A-2“. Use of Ansys-Maxwell gives huge possibilities for improving operation of current motor types, because in short time lot of informations can be gained about work of induction motor if one or more parameters are changed. By using detailed computer simulations of induction motor during design it is possible to reduce prototyping costs
