Abstract
U ovom radu detaljno je opisan rad solarnog električnog automobila i svi važniji podsustavi koji ga čine. Nakon uvodnog dijela, sažet je kratak povijesni pregled električnih i solarnih električnih automobila U teorijskom dijelu seminara opisan je rad elektromotora i prednosti i nedostatci različitih izvebi. Također je opisan rad punjivih baterija i solarnih panela, te prednosti i nedostatci različitih izvedbi. U praktičnom dijelu rada objašnjena je izrada modela solarnog električnog automobila i opisani su dijelovi na koje je obračena posebna pozornost. Objašnjena je važnost aerodinamika karoserije vozila i na koji način se ona unaprijeđuje. U praktičnom dijelu rada je također objašnjeno koje izvedbe elektromotora, solarnih panela i baterija bi se koristile u vlastitoj izvebi modela solarnog električnog automobila. Objašnjeni su problemi solarnog električnog automobila i prikazani izračuni koji pokazuju moguči domet u ovisnosti s korištenim solarnim panelima. Na kraju rada ukazano je na ekonomske i ekološke utjecaje solarne energije i samih obnovljivih izvora. Zaključuje se kako je praktični solarni električni automobil moguć, ali ne i u potpunosti praktičan za duže relacije. Današnje tehnologije nisu još toliko uznapredovale da mogu zamjeniti fosilna goriva na koja smo toliko navikli, ali se dobar napredak prepoznaje i s obnovljivim izvorima možemo postići bolju budućnost
Abstract (english)
seminar deeply describes how a solar electric car and all his subsystems work. After the introduction part, a short historical summary about electric and solar electric cars is made. In the theoretical part of this seminar the operation of the electric motor and the advantages and disadvantages of some variants are decsribed. Also the operation of rechargeable batteries and solar panels with their advantages and disadvantages are described. In the practical par of this seminar the development of a model solar electric car and the parts where special attention was given were described. The importance of aerodynamics of a car and how it can be improved is explained. In the practical part of the seminar is described which electric motors, solar panels and batteries would be used in the self created solar electric car. It explains the problems of solar electric cars and presents calculations showing the possible range depending on the used solar panels. Finally, the paper points out the economic and environmental impacts of solar energy and renewable energy itself. The conclusion is that practical solar electric cars are possible,but not entirely practical for longer distances. Today's tehnologies are not yet so advanced that they can replace fossil fuels on which we are so used to, but good progress is made and with renewable energy we can achieve a better future.
