Abstract
Nuklearna energija predstavlja veliki potencijal u proizvodnji energije. Trenutno se dobivena energija iz nuklearnih energetski postrojenja zasniva na procesu raspada atoma na fisijske fragmente. U uvodnim poglavljima diplomskog rad predstavljene su fizikalne osnove nuklearne energetike nužne za razumijevanje rad nuklearnog energetskog postrojenja i spomenutog procesa fisije. Glavni dio rada bavi se analizom goriva nuklearnog energetskog postrojenja, odvođenju topline kao i vrstama i tehnologijama rada nuklearnih energetskih postrojenja. Uz većinu teorijskih razmatranja dan je i numerički primjer. Završni dio rada sastoji se od termodinamičke analize Rankineova ciklus pojednostavljenog reaktora s vodom pod tlakom (PWR). Također je dan uvid u tehnička ograničena ovakvog postrojenja, te mogućnosti poboljšanja stupnja korisnog djelovanja.
Abstract (english)
Nuclear energy represents a huge potential in energy production. Produced energy in nuclear power plant si based on fission of atom on fission fragments. In the introductry chapters of this work, basics of nuclear physics are presented witch are necessary for understanding operation of nuclear power plants and fission process. Main part of this work analyzes nuclear fuel, heat conductance, as well as technologies and types of nuclear power plants and reactors. Moste of the theoretical considerations have a numerical examples. Final section consists of thermodynamical analysis of simplified pressurized water reactor (PWR) as well as insight in technical limits of processes and advantages and disadvantages of each of analaysed cycles
