Abstract
Diplomski rad ima za cilj prikazati koliki značaj u povećanju efikasnosti i efektivnosti internetskog marketinga ima korištenje responzivnog (prilagodljivog) web dizajna. Rad započinje teorijskim osvrtom na sam pojam responzivnog web dizajna i internetskog marketinga, povijesni razvoj, kako internetskog marketinga, tako i razvoj responzivnog dizajna. Također se prikazuje način na koji se responzivni dizajn implementira na web sjedištima i kako funkcionira. Dalje u radu istaknuta je nedvojbena ovisnost uspjeha internetskog marketinga i responzivnog dizajna web sjedišta. Ova ovisnost prikazana je kroz analizu uspjeha internetskog marketinga poslovnih subjekata koji imaju implementiran responzivni web dizajn u dva segmenta ljudskog djelovanja: turizmu i trgovini. Nakon toga slijedi zaključak u kojem se prihvaćaju ili odbijaju hipoteze postavljene u uvodu. Na kraju rada nalazi se popis korištene literature koja potkrepljuje sve podatke i informacije iznesene u radu, te popis slika korištenih u radu.

The main purpose of this paper is to show the importance of using responsive web design in an attempt to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Internet marketing. The paper starts with the theoretical emphasis on the concept of responsive web design and internet marketing. The historical development of Internet marketing and responsive design are also explained. The second part of this paper explains the main principles of responsive web design and the way it is implemented in websites. Further ,the paper highlights the undeniable connection between successful internet marketing strategies and implementation of responsive web design. This connection is shown through the analysis of the success of the marketing efforts in businesses that have implemented a responsive web design in comparison with those who have not implemented RWD to their web sites. The analysis is conducted in two significant segments of human activity: tourism and trade. This is followed by a conclusion in which all the hypotheses set out in the introduction are accepted or rejected. At the end there is a list of references and a list of images used in the paper.
