Abstract
Porastom broja mobilnih aplikacija i njihovih korisnika dolazi do razvoja mobilnog marketinga, a time i do promjena u marketinškim aktivnostima oglašivača. U ovom radu opisane su značajke vezane uz mobilne aplikacije te preduvjeti za njihovu uspješnu pozicioniranost na tržištu aplikacija. Predstavljene su mogućnosti koje mobilne aplikacije nude u oglašavanju, posebice koristeći lokaciju kao temelj oglašavanja. Detaljnije su razmotrene aplikacije koje se koriste u turizmu, te aplikacije vezane uz praćenje i razvoj djece.

The increase in number of mobile applications (apps) placed on app markets and their users leads to development of mobile marketing, thus contributing to a change in the marketing activities of companies. In this thesis, features of the mobile application are described, as well as the requirements for their successful placement on the market. Possibilities of advertising through mobile applications are presented, especially of those which use location based services (LBS) as a core mean of advertisement. Mobile applications used in tourism and location tracking of children and their development are described in detail.
