Abstract
Predmet istraživanja ovog završnog rada je analiza kreativnih gradova budućnosti. Cilj rada je upoznati se sa gradovima i to od samih početaka civilizacije do današnjice kada su gradovi postali glavni izazovi urbanog menadžmenta. Rad se sastoji od tri cjeline. Prva cjelina se odnosi na razvoj gradova kroz povijest sve od kada su postojala samo naselja pa sve do metropola koje postoje danas. Navedena cjelina daje odgovor na pitanje što je grad i koja je njegova uloga. Cjelina opisuje i najčešće gradske probleme i izazove s kojima se suvremeni grad susreće. Druga cjelina podrobnije opisuje specifičnosti kreativnih gradova budućnosti o čemu je i riječ u ovom radu. Na samom početku dane su definicije kreativnog i pametnog grada te su opisane karakteristike i smjer prema kojem se kreativni grad orijentira. Nadalje, u Hrvatskoj postoji projekt „Gradovi budućnosti“ te su navedene njegove inicijative za razvoj hrvatskih gradova u „smart city-“. Treća i najzanimljivija cjelina daje konkretniji uvid kako zapravo izgledaju kreativni gradovi budućnosti. Cjelina obuhvaća niz primjera hrvatskih i stranih kreativnih inovacija te pet hrvatskih nagrađivanih gradova budućnosti koji su se na inovativan i kreativan način istakli svojim projektima i tako poslali primjer ostalim hrvatskim gradovima. Na kraju rada se nalaze dva zanimljiva priloga od kojih jedan prikazuje Europsku viziju budućnosti gradova, a drugi prilog je vizija futurologa Iana Pearsona koji opisuje kako bi gradovi budućnosti mogli izgledati 2050. godine.

The subject of this final work is to analyze the creative cities of the future. The aim is to get acquainted with the cities and from the very beginning of civilization until today, when the cities became the main challenges of urban management. The work consists of three parts. The first section relates to the development of cities throughout history ever since there were just settlement to the metropolis that exists today. The above unit answers the question of what is a city and what is its role. Section describes the most common urban problems and challenges that the modern city meets. The second section describes in more detail the specifics of creative cities of the future which is also discussed in this work. At the very beginning there were provided definitions of creative and smart city and describes the characteristics and direction under which the creative city landmarks. Furthermore, in Croatia there is a project "Cities of the Future" and listed its initiatives for the development of Croatian towns in the "smart city-". The third and most interesting section gives specific insight to actually look creative cities of the future. The section includes a number of examples of Croatian and foreign creative innovation and award-winning five Croatian cities of the future who have an innovative and creative way to highlight their projects and also send an example to other Croatian cities. At the end of the paper, there are two interesting contributions, one of which shows the European vision of future cities, while others favor of the vision futurologist Ian Pearson to describe how the cities of the future could look like in 2050.
