Abstract
Upravljanje ljudskim potencijalima bitna je menadžerska funkcija u poslovanju poduzeća koja brine o sebi i svojim zaposlenicima. Ovo je jedna od disciplina usmjerenih unapređenju razvoja i trajne investicije ulaganjem u ljudski kapital. Bitan dio svakog kolektiva su ljudski potencijali. Ljudski potencijali, njihova znanja, sposobnosti, vještine i kompetencije su ključni faktori uspješnog poslovanja i djelovanja svakog poduzeća, organizacije ili institucije. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati temeljne odrednice i karakteristike ljudskih potencijala sa stajališta menadžmenta, odnosno elaborirati menadžment ljudskih resursa kao jednu od najbitnijih funkcija menadžmenta. U radu su definirani ljudski potencijali, menadžment ljudskih potencijala, te unutarnji i vanjski izvori pribavljanja ljudskih potencijala.

Human resources management is the management function important in business management who cares about reputation and employess. Human resources is discipline dedicated to promote development and permanent investment in human resources An important segment of every collective are human resources. Human resources, their knowledge, abilities, skills and competence are key factors of successful business operations and activities of every company, organization or institution. The aim of this paper is to present the core concepts and features from the standpoint of human resource management, in other words, to elaborate on the management of human resources as one of the most important functions of management. The work is defined in human resources, management of human their potential, providing of human resources internal and external sources.
