Abstract Upravljanje ljudskim resursima izazovan je zadatak u kontekstu mijenjanja tehnologija, sastava radne snage, načina rada, očekivanja zajednice, očekivanja zaposlenika, te povećanja uloge u sve većoj globalnoj konkurenciji. Ovaj diplomski rad kratak je pogled na različite pristupe upravljanju ljudskim resursima koji mogu pomoći sportskim organizacijama odgovoriti na ove izazove. U radu su istražene aktivnosti menadžera na svim razinama u zapošljavanju, motiviranju, nagrađivanju i zadržavanju kako plaćenih zaposlenika tako i volontera.
Kada govorimo o upravljanju ljudskim resursima mislimo na cjelokupni proces upravljanja ljudima u organizaciji, tako da budu motivirani i u mogućnosti ostvariti svoj puni potencijal te na taj način maksimizirati učinkovitost organizacije u ispunjavanju zadanih ciljeva. Osim toga pruža nam okvir za donošenje odluka o ljudima u organizaciji, koga zaposliti, kako nagraditi dobar rad, što motivira zaposlenike, kako odrediti potrebe obuke i razvoja te kada otpustiti zaposlenika. U radu su se pokušale istražiti osnove upravljanja ljudskim resursima u sportskim organizacijama i kako pristup ljudskim potencijalima konceptualizira osnove zapošljavanja, ocjenjivanje rada, kompenzacijske sustave i druge funkcije ljudskih resursa u sportskim organizacijama.
Također se raspravljalo i o suvremenim sportskim organizacijama i kako se iz perspektive ljudskih resursa može pomoći ostvarivanju organizacijskih ciljeva. Paralelno s tim uzimaju se u obzir mogućnosti i izazovi efektivnog vođenja kako plaćenih zaposlenika tako i volontera koji su sa svojim sposobnostima, karakterom, potrebama, vrijednostima i uvjerenjima najsloženiji resurs jedne organizacije.
Više organizacija bi trebalo obratiti veću pozornost na ulogu ljudskih resursa. Bilo da se radi o implementaciji novih tehnologija, smanjenju troškova, širenju ili bilo kakvoj većoj promjeni unutar organizacije, nužno je prepoznati važnost koju imaju zaposlenici u tom procesu te ih u skladu s tim na pravi način uključiti.
Abstract (english) Human resource managament is a challenging task in the context of changing technologies, workforce composition, the way people work, community expectations, expectations of employees and increasing role in the growing global competition. This master thesis is a brief look at the different approaches to the management of human resources that can help sports organizations to meet these challenges. We examined the activities of managers at all levels on how they employ, motivate, reward and retain both paid emplyees and volunteers.
When we talk about human resource management we refer to the entire process of managing people in the organization, so that they are motivated and able to achieve their full potential and therby maximize the efficiency of the organization in meeting its goals. In addition it gives us a framework for making decisions about the people in the organization, who to hire, how to reward good work, what motivates employees, how to determine the needs of training and development as well as when to let employees go. In this thesis we try to explore the basics of human resource managament in sports organizations and how its approach conceptualizes hiring, evaluation, compensation systems and other functions of human resources in sports organizations.
We discuss about modern sports organizations and how human resource management can help them achieve organizational goals. We also discuss about the opportunities and challenges of effective leadership of employees who are, with their skills, character, needs, values and beliefs the most complex resource of an organization.
More organizations should pay greater attention to the role of human resources. Whether it is the implementation of new technologies, reducing costs, expansion or any major change within the organization it is necessary to recognize the importance of the emplyees in that process and properly include them in.
