Abstract
Predmet ovoga rada su odnosi s javnošću (PR) te publicitet. Odnosi s javnošću te publicitet izuzetno su važni za poduzeća, organizacije, te javne osobe. Kako bi poduzeća, organizacije i javne osobe bili što bolje prihvaćeni od strane javnosti potrebno je da ulažu u odnose s javnošću te paze na svoj publicitet zato što su to dvije stvari koje mogu odlučiti o njihovom dugoročnom uspjehu, tj. neuspjehu. Odnosi s javnošću i publicitet uvelike pomažu poduzećima u njihovom poslovanju, razvoju i povezivanju s potrošačima te im stoga treba pridodati veliku pozornost u poslovanju. Odnosi s javnošću, koji su jedna od marketinških funkcija, pomažu u stvaranju kvalitetnog i trajnog odnosa između poduzeća i javnosti dok se putem publiciteta brzo i uspješno prezentiraju željeni sadržaji. U prvom dijelu završnog rada naglasak je na marketingu te na važnosti marketinške komunikacije. U drugom dijelu rada naglasak je na odnosima s javnošću, točnije važnosti informacija, komunikacije te odnosa s javnošću. U trećem dijelu rada naglasak je na publicitetu dok su u četvrtom, posljednjem, dijelu rada dani primjeri uspješnih odnosa s javnošću te uspješnog publiciteta. Nakon provedenog istraživanja za završni rad o važnosti odnosa s javnošću te važnosti publiciteta može se zaključiti da su to dva segmenta u poslovanju poslovnih subjekata koja se ne smiju zanemariti, te u koje kontinuirano treba ulagati za dugoročnu dobrobit samih poslovnih subjekata.

Public relations (PR) and publicity are being observed in this thesis. Public relations and publicity are extremely important for companies, organizations and public figures. So the companies, organizations and public figures could be better accepted by the public they need to invest in their public relations and make sure that they get a lot of good publicity and all that because these two things can decide on their long term success or their failure. Public relations and publicity greatly assist companies in their business, development and connecting with consumers so all companies should dedicate a great amount of attention to these two segments of business. Public relations, which are one of the marketing functions, are helping to create a great long term relations between companies and the public while through the publicity companies are quickly and successfully presenting their desired facilities. In the first part of the thesis the focus in on marketing and the importance of marketing communication. In the second part the emphasis is on public relations, namely on the importance of information, communication and public relations. In the third part, the emphasis is on publicity while in the fourth and the final part are given examples of successful public relations and successful publicity. After completing the research for the thesis on public relations and publicity it can be concluded that these two segments of the business can't and shouldn't be ignored and that there is a need to invest in them for the long term benefit of the very business.
