Abstract | Vegetarijanstvo je kao način ishrane u posljednje vrijeme poprimilo važnu ulogu u svjetskoj prehrani, ali i u prehrani kod Hrvata. Vegetarijanci ne jedu mesne proizvode, ali postoje razne vrste vegetarijanaca. Kao npr. polu-vegetarijanci, pescatarian, lacto-ovo-vegetarijanci, vegani, sirova veganska dijeta i makrobiotički vegetarijanci. Biljna ishrana podrazumijeva žitarice, voće, povrće te orašaste plodove koji su glavni proizvodi većinske poljoprivredne kulture. Vegetarijanstvo je praksa suzdržavanja od konzumiranja mesa (crveno meso, perad, plodovi mora, insekti i meso bilo koje druge životinje). To također može uključivati suzdržavanje od jedenja svih nusproizvoda ubijanja životinja. Hranjive tvari koje sadrži hrana u vegetarijanskoj prehrani su: proteini, aminokiseline, cink, omega 3, vitamin B12, vitamin D, željezo, cink i kalcij. Poljoprivreda je gospodarska djelatnost koja se bavi proizvodnjom poljoprivrednih proizvoda i uzgojem životinja. Najpopularniji poljoprivredni proizvodi u vegetarijanskoj prehrani su žitarice, voće i povrće, orašasti plodovi i sjemenke te mahunarke. One su bogate bjelančevinama i ugljikohidratima. Proizvodnjom poljoprivrednih kultura, poljoprivrednici opskrbljuju hranom ljude koji se hrane isključivo vegetarijanskom prehranom. Bez njih, ne bi bilo ni zdrave prehrane. |
Abstract (english) | Vegetarianism as a way of eating has recently taken on an important role in the world diet, but also in the diet of Croats. Vegetarians do not eat meat products, but there are different types of vegetarians. Such as semi-vegetarian, pescatarian, lacto-ovo-vegetarian, vegan, raw vegan diet and macrobiotic vegetarian. Plant-based nutrition includes cereals, fruits, vegetables and nuts, which are the main products of most agricultural crops. Vegetarianism is the practice of abstaining from eating meat (red meat, poultry, seafood, insects and meat of any other animal). This may also include abstaining from eating all the by-products of killing animals. The nutrients contained in food in a vegetarian diet are: proteins, amino acids, zinc, omega 3, vitamin B12, vitamin D, iron, zinc and calcium. Agriculture is an economic activity that deals with the production of agricultural products and animal breeding. The most popular agricultural products in a vegetarian diet are cereals, fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, and legumes. They are rich in proteins and carbohydrates. By producing agricultural crops, farmers supply food to people who eat an exclusively vegetarian diet. Without them, there would be no healthy diet. |
