Modern-day organizations have to continuously evolve in their development and improvements to maintain their original position on the market and expand their business results. In order for this to be practical, they have to take on requirements from the business environment. By doing so, they must understand the basic concepts and follow the dynamics of the change process. That way they can use potential opportunities from the surroundings. Realizing the importance and necessity of implementing changes is a fundamental step in the decision-making process that can affect the overall performance of the organization. Every development that comes from a place of force represents an opportunity that needs to be taken advantage of or a threat that needs to be eliminated. Therefore, this paper intends to present the necessity of constant changes, to make a configuration and an analysis of the complex business environment in which forces operate, and to describe the significance and reflection of the most influential forces on overall business success. Methods that were implemented in this final work were descriptive method, generalization method, inductive method, synthesis, and analysis method, compilation, and classification methods. Conclusions that were made through the theoretical groundwork were that it is necessary to continuously observe the necessity for changes that continuously exert pressure and create requirements to make the right decisions that enable pursuing a competitive advantage. It is necessary to react adequately to the forces and adapt to them, but also actively manage with them to generate new values that will enable success and leadership in the defined business domain. This topic is systematically studied in the scientific and professional literature. However, there are required more detailed analyses and studies that will provide a deeper understanding of the complexity of the mentioned issue, which is of extreme importance for managers who face change challenges from internal and external sources daily.
