Abstract
Teorijske rasprave o ekonomskom rastu i razvoju počinju se voditi tek unazad 40 godina, kada se počelo postavljati pitanje zašto neke zemlje imaju brži gospodarski rast od drugih iako su na istom stupnju industrijskog razvoja. Jedna od pretpostavki je da su različiti socijalni modeli država razlog tome. U ovom radu približeni su pojmovi ekonomskog rasta i ekonomskog razvoja, napravljen je osvrt na euopske socijalne modele, te je napravljena kompracija konzervativnog, libralnog i skandinavvskog modela za što su kao primjer uzete Njemačka, Velika Britanija i Danska. Osim usporedbe samih modela, prikazano je kako su se te zemlje, kao predstavnice pojedinih modela, nosile s Velikom rescesijom kao jednim od najvećih izazova za ekonomski rast i razvoj. Velika recesija ostavila je traga na čitavoj svjetskoj ekonomiji te je sasvim razumljivo da su se zbog nje sva tri najznačajnija, europska socijalna modela morala izmijeniti, a samim time došlo je i do određenih promjena kod ekonomskog rasta i ekonomskog razvoja tih zemalja.
Abstract (english)
Theoretical debates about economic growth and development only began to be conducted 40 years ago, when the question began to be raised as to why some countries have faster economic growth than others, even though they are at the same level of industrial development. One of the assumptions is that different social models of countries are the reason for this. In this paper, the concepts of economic growth and economic development are approximated, a review of European social models is made, and a comparison of conservative, liberal and Scandinavian models is made, for which Germany, Great Britain and Denmark are taken as examples. In addition to comparing the models themselves, it is shown how these countries, as representatives of individual models, coped with the Great Recession as one of the biggest challenges for economic growth and development. The Great Recession left its mark on the entire world economy, and it is quite understandable that all three of the most significant European social models had to change because of it, and at the same time there were certain changes in the economic growth and economic development of those countries.
