Abstract
Kada se govori o maloprodaji, glavni cilj svakog maloprodajnog poduzeća je poslovati uspješno i maksimalno zadovoljavati potrebe potrošača i kupaca. Potrebe potrošača se mijenjaju svakodevno, ovisno o vremenu i mjestu na kojem se potrošač nalazi, također ovisi i o godišnjem razdoblju u kojem je potrebno donijeti određene maloprodajne odluke. Zato je nužno za svakog poslovnog subjekta osigurati sve potrebne informacije i podatke o potencijalnim potrošačima kako bi bili maksimalno konkurentni na tržištu, konkurencija na maloprodajnom tržištu je velika i sve prednosti u odnosu na glavne tržišne konkurente daju veliku prednost u odnosu na konkurenciju. Informacijska tehnologija predstavlja upotrebu računalnog znanja za prikupljanje, analiziranje, obrađivanje i pohranjivanje informacija i podataka o potrošačima i njihovom ponašanju i kretanju na tržištu. Tehnologija raste iz dana u dan, pa se tako razvija i informacijska tehnologija, za svako maloprodajno poduzeće je potrebno znanje o informacijskoj tehnologiji. Za donošenje ključnih, važnih i teških tržišnih i maloprodajnih odluka, poslovnom subjektu su potrebe sve raspoložive informacije i podaci o potrošačima koje će olakšati zahtjevan proces donošenja odluke. Sve dostupne tehnologije imaju svoje prednosti i nedostatke, tako i informacijska tehnologija nije u potpunosti razvijena do točke u kojoj maksimalno može odgovarati svakom tržištu i predmetu poslovanja, ali gledano kroz povijest, informacijska tehnologija dobiva na sve većem značaju i utjecaju u maloprodajnom poslovanju.
Abstract (english)
When talking about retail, the main goal of every retail company is to successfully and maximally satisfy the needs of consumers and customers. Consumer needs change every day, depending on the time and place where the consumer is, it also depends on the period of the year in which certain retail decisions need to be made. That is why it is necessary for every business entity to provide all the necessary information and data about potential consumers in order to be competitive in the market, the competition in the retail market is great and all the advantages compared to the main market competitors give a great advantage compared to the competition. Information technology represents the use of computer knowledge to collect, analyze, process and store information and data about consumers and their behavior and movement on the market. Technology is growing day by day, so information technology is also developing, every retail business needs information technology knowledge. To make key, important and difficult market and retail decisions, business entities need all available information and consumer data that will facilitate the demanding decision-making process. All technologies have their advantages and disadvantages, and information technology has not been fully developed to the point where it can best suit every market and business, but viewed throughout history, information technology is gaining more and more importance and influence in retail business.
