Environmental accounting is a model that allows for the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data on the environmental aspects of a company's operations. As such, it is a way to practically implement the concept of corporate social responsibility. The results of environmental accounting are monetary and physical information that managers use to make environmentally friendly decisions. In addition to improving environmental performance, a company can reduce its longterm operating costs by applying this concept. Since it is a new and current model, the aim of this paper was to investigate the application of the environmental accounting method in Croatian corporate practice, using the Podravka Group company as an example, through the analysis of its non-financial report. The primary source of information for this research was Podravka Group's annual report for the year 2021. The mentioned report provided insight into the information of Podravka Group's environmental management and showed how the observed company implements socially responsible management in practice. The conducted research revealed that Podravka Group is a truly socially responsible company that follows the latest trends in the field of corporate social responsibility. It is a company that provides non-financial information to its stakeholders and takes care to maintain the image of an environmentally conscious company. One shortcoming uncovered in the analysis of the ESG report is the Podravka Group's failure to report on the financial information of its corporate environmental accounting, which has caused the company to miss the opportunity to more effectively present environmental information to its stakeholders.
