Abstract
Danas je okolina postala izuzetno neizvjesna i konkurentna. To se posebice može uvidjeti na tržištu dobara i usluga. Naime, to je tržište na kojemu se susreću kupci i proizvođači različitih dobara i usluga. Proizvođači na ovom tržištu se međusobno natječu. Natjecanje među proizvođačima istih ili sličnih dobara naziva se konkurencija. Na tržištu dobara postoje četiri tržišne strukture, a to su savršena konkurencija, monopol te nesavršena konkurencija u koju se ubrajaju oligopol i monopolistička konkurencija. Savršena konkurencija i monopol su dvije krajnosti. Dakle, savršena konkurencija je tržišna struktura s mnogo proizvođača i kupaca, dok kod monopola postoji samo jedan ponuđač koji sam određuje cijene proizvoda te zbog toga posjeduje i monopolsku moć. U ovom diplomskom radu detaljno se analiziralo tržište monopola te njegova obilježja.

Today, the environment has become extremely tight and competitive, especially in the market of goods and services. In fact, this is the market where you can find customers and manufacturers of goods and services. Manufacturers in this market compete with each other. Manufacturers who compete with each other are making the identical or similar goods or services. In the market of goods and services, there are four market structures, such as perfect competition, monopoly and imperfect competition being among oligopoly and monopolistic competition. Perfect competition and monopoly are the two extremes. So, perfect competition is a market structure with many manufacturers and customers, while the monopoly is the structure where is only one manufacturer who determines the prices of the products itself, and therefore has a monopoly power. In this thesis is thoroughly analyzed the monopoly market and its characteristics.
