Abstract
Rad prvotno prolazi kroz osnovnu teorijsku podlogu koja će pomoći pri razumijevanju ostatka rada. Nakon toga govori se o prijasnjim istraživanjima na temelju diskretnih simulacija redova cekanja. Iduće o cemu se govori jest detaljnija teoretska objasnjenja, mane i nedostaci diskretnih simulacija. Također, govori se o teoriji redova cime se bavi prakticni dio ovog rada. U prakticnom primjeru pomoću Pythona, modeliran je sustav redova cekanja na primjeru jedne poslovne banke. Izvrsena je simulacija koja se sastojala od 500 iteracija i testirana je ucinkovitost modela. Naposljetku su 3 dubinske what-if analize pokusale unaprijediti nedostatne performanse. Koristili su se napredni koncepti iz teorija redova cekanja te se dao konacan zakljucak o uspjesnosti navedenih sustava kao i mogućnostima uporabe navedenog modela u praksi, i/ili njegovih what-if scenarija.
Abstract (english)
The paper initially goes through a basic theoretical background that will help in understanding the rest of the paper. After that, previous research based on discrete queue simulations is discussed. Next, more detailed theoretical explanations, flaws and disadvantages of discrete simulations are discussed. Also, the theory of queues is discussed, which is the practical part of this work. In a practical example using Python, a queue system was modeled on the example of a commercial bank. A simulation consisting of 500 iterations was performed and the effectiveness of the model was tested. Finally, 3 in-depth what-if analyzes tried to improve the lack of performance. Advanced concepts from queuing theories were used, and a final conclusion was given on the success of the mentioned systems, as well as the possibilities of using the mentioned model in practice, and/or its what-if scenarios.
