Abstract
U radu se istražuje uloga i utjecaj IT sektora na menadžment, kako u svijetu, tako i u Hrvatskoj. Informatička tehnologija ili skraćeno IT predstavlja razvoj, istraživanje, provedbu i upravljanje informatičkim sustavom. To je spoj informacija i računala. IT sektor je u današnje vrijeme vrlo bitan faktor svakog poslovanja. Nove tehnologije su sve prisutnije i vrlo brzo mijenjaju svijet oko nas. Nadalje, tehnologija zahtjeva kontinuirano i konstantno praćenje novih trendova, ulaganje u nju te njezinu primjenu u poslovanje, kako bi se posao obavljao što uspješnije. Olakšava obavljanje poslova, skraćuje potrebno vrijeme obavljanja poslova i nudi bezbroj informacija. Poslovanje se danas ne može zamisliti bez tehnologije, a u kojoj mjeri ona utječe na troškove, ali i zaradu, objasnit će se u radu. Poduzeća moraju ulagati u napredne tehnologije, ukoliko žele rezultate, nedvojbeno! Kao i sve danas, i tehnologije zahtijevaju određenu edukaciju, odnosno potrebno znanje u upravljanju njome. Nadalje, osim potrebnog znanja u upravljanju tehnologijom, potrebno je obratiti pažnju na paradoks produktivnosti, kao i njegove dimenzije.
Abstract (english)
The paper explores the role and impact of the IT sector on management, both in the world and in Croatia. IT technology or, shortly, IT represents the development, research, implementation and management of the IT system. It's a combination of information and computers. The IT sector is a very important factor of any business nowadays. New technologies are increasingly present and they are changing the world around us very quickly. Furthermore, technology requires continuous and constant monitoring of new trends, investment in it and its application in business, in order to carry out the work as successfully as possible. It facilitates the performance of tasks, reduces the necessary time of performing tasks and offers countless information. Business today cannot be imagined without technology, and to what extent it affects costs, but also earnings, will be explained in the paper. Companies must invest in advanced technologies, if they want results, undoubtedly! Like all today, technologies require a certain education, that is, the necessary knowledge in the management of it. Furthermore, in addition to the necessary knowledge in the management of technology, it is necessary to pay attention to the paradox of productivity, as well as its dimensions.
