Abstract
Glavni izvor konkurentske prednosti u suvremenom poslovanju predstavlja ljudski kapital, odnosno pravilna selekcija, obuka i motivacija zaposlenika. Naime, osim što zaposlenici čine jedan od ključnih čimbenika uspješnosti organizacije, predstavljaju i najvažniji resurs svakog poduzeća. Stoga, glavni cilj ali i izazov menadžmenta u organizaciji jest osigurati motiviranost, produktivnost i efikasnost kadrova u poduzeću, što je ostvarivo upravo uspješnim upravljanjem ljudskim resursima. Upravljanje ljudskim resursima je multidisciplinarna poslovna funkcija koja je zastupljena u svakoj, profitnoj ili neprofitnoj, organizaciji. U suvremenom poslovanju organizacije postaju sve više svjesnije činjenice da obrazovanje i obuka te razvoj karijere zaposlenika predstavlja ključan faktor ostvarenja konkurentnosti čitave organizacije. U skladu s tim, poduzeća sve više ulažu u kadrove i efikasne sustave nagrađivanja kadrova te pokušavaju maksimalno iskoristiti njihove kompetencije jer to poboljšava produktivnost i kvalitetu učinaka, olakšava prilagodbu globalnoj konkurenciji i promjenama na tržištu te predstavlja izvor dodatnih brojnih prednosti.
Abstract (english)
The main source of competitive advantage in modern business is human capital or the proper selection, training and motivation of employees. Namely, in addition to being one of the key factors in the success of an organization, employees are also the most important resource of every company. Therefore, the main goal, but also the challenge, of management in the organization is to ensure the motivation, productivity and efficiency of staff in the company, which is achievable through successful human resource management. Human resource management is a multidisciplinary business function that is represented in every, for-profit or non-profit, organization. In modern business, organizations are becoming increasingly aware of the fact that education, training and career development of employees is a key factor in achieving the competitiveness of the entire organization. Accordingly, companies are increasingly investing in human resources and efficient reward systems as well as trying to make the most out of their competencies because it improves productivity and quality of performance, facilitates adaptation to global competition and market changes, and is a source of many additional benefits.
