Abstract
Projekti i njihovo kvalitetno upravljanje i vođenje dobivaju na značaju u poslovnim organizacijama, neovisno o veličini ili grani industrije. Zbog naglih i brzih tehnoloških promjena u svijetu, organizacije su se morale prilagoditi i biti u koraku s promjenama, a posljedica toga je kompleksnost poslovnih procesa. Tehnološki razvitak donio je i veći broj softverskih rješenja, pa se javlja i veća potreba za kvalitetnijem i efikasnijem upravljanjem. S obzirom na potrebu za informatičkim projektima javljaju se i razne metodologije kojima se definiraju procesi, faze i pravila kako pristupiti vođenju projekata koji u konačnici donose novi kvalitetan proizvod. Javljaju se dva najpopularnija načina upravljanja projektima, a to su tradicionalni i agilni načini upravljanja. Tradicionalni oblici i načini provođenja više nisu mogli pratiti nove i suvremene koncepte upravljanja stoga su razvijene sve popularnije suvremene odnosno agilne metode provođenja projekata. U svijetu softverskih proizvoda najčešće su korištene agilne metode jer su u odnosu na tradicionalne fleksibilnije, što rezultira većom uspješnošću projekata i zadovoljstvom svih dionika. Rad ima za cilj sistematizirati ključne značajke tradicionalnih metoda u odnosu na agilne i uočiti glavne razlike pri odabiru prave metode kod provođenja informatičkih projekata.
Abstract (english)
Projects and the quality of their management and leadership are gaining in importance in business organizations, regardless of the size or branch of industry. Due to the sudden and rapid technological changes in the world, organizations have had to adapt and keep up with the changes, the consequence of which is the complexity of business processes. Technological development has brought a larger number of software solutions, hence the greater need for better and more efficient management. Given the need for IT projects, there are various methodologies that define the processes, phases, and rules of how to approach project management that ultimately bring a new quality product. There are two most popular ways to manage projects, and these are the traditional and agile ways of managing. Traditional forms and methods of management could no longer follow new and modern management concepts, therefore increasingly popular modern and agile methods of project implementation were developed. In the world of software products, agile methods are most often used, because they are more flexible compared to traditional ones, which results in greater project success and satisfaction of all stakeholders. This paper aims to systematize the key features of traditional methods in relation to the agile ones and to notice the main differences in choosing the right method in the implementation of IT projects.
