Abstract
Kroz prvu polovicu devedesetih godina 20. stoljeća počinje se shvaćati kako je internet, odnosno World Wide Web kao njegov najznačajniji servis, izrazito pogodan za pružanje poslovnih usluga te obavljanje poslovnih transakcija. Elektronička trgovina predstavlja sastavni dio e-poslovanja gdje se roba, informacije i usluge kupuju putem interneta. Imajući na umu kako se digitalna pismenost populacije povećava te inovacije u tehnologiji rapidno rastu, tako se i trendovi u implementaciji ovakvog načina trgovanja konstantno mijenjaju. Rad sadrži temeljne odrednice e-trgovine u smislu povijesti i nastanka, njezine definicije i analize korištenja e-trgovine. Analitičkim pristupom radu, nastoji se objasniti utjecaj informacijskokomunikacijskih tehnologija u kontekstu e-trgovine, te kako ponašanje potrošača utječe na istu. Analizom će se ustanoviti povijesni i prethodni trendovi te tako oni potencijalni i budući, uz uvažavanje specifičnosti digitalnih tehnologija i inovacija.
Abstract (english)
During the first half of the 1990s, it started to become apparent that the Internet, i.e. the World Wide Web as its most important service, is extremely suitable for providing business services and performing business transactions. E-commerce is an integral part of e-business where goods, information and services are purchased online. Bearing in mind that the digital literacy of the population is increasing and these innovations in technology are growing rapidly, the trends in the implementation of this way of trading are constantly changing. The paper contains the basic determinants of e-commerce in terms of history and origin, its definition and analysis of the use of e-commerce. The analytical approach to the paper seeks to explain the impact of information and communication technologies in the context of e-commerce, and how consumer behavior affects it. The analysis will establish historical and previous trends and thus potential and future ones, taking into account the specifics of digital technologies and innovations.
