Abstract
Životni ciklus proizvoda kao koncept, nastao je 50-ih godina prošlog stoljeća. Koncept životnog ciklusa proizvoda omogućava prepoznavanje četiri faze: fazu uvođenja, fazu rasta, fazu zrelosti i fazu opadanja. Analiza troškova životnog ciklusa proizvoda, kao suvremena metoda strateškog upravljanja, podrazumijeva praćenje troškova proizvoda tijekom svih faza životnog ciklusa u svrhu donošenja ocjene profitabilnosti i učinkovitosti proizvoda. Naime, osnovni cilj analize utvrditi je premašuju li ukupni prihodi proizvoda ukupne troškove nastale tijekom životnog ciklusa. Uz sve prednosti analize nameće se i potencijalni nedostatak primjene, preciznije korištenje procijenjenih troškova koji mogu biti netočni. Karakteristično za ovu metodu je najveća akumulacija troškova u fazi prije uvođenja proizvoda na tržište, odnosno prije nego proizvod krene generirati dobit. Isto tako, analiza troškova životnog ciklusa proizvoda jasno ukazuje na razdoblje smanjene potražnje te omogućuje poduzeću pravovremenu reakciju u odnosu na konkurentske proizvode. Analiza troškova životnog ciklusa, u ovom radu, primjenjuje se na primjeru proizvoda poduzeća PVC Troplex d.o.o. Analizira se trošak životnog ciklusa pvc stupa Φ80/2000 uporabom klasične ili Blanchardove metode, s ciljem utvrđivanja isplativosti njegove proizvodnje. Elementi troškova analize obuhvaćaju troškove istraživanja i razvoja proizvoda, troškove projektiranja i proizvodnje, operativne troškove proizvodnje, troškove odumiranja i zbrinjavanja proizvoda, a specifičnost ove analize je u obuhvatu svih troškova tijekom životnog ciklusa proizvoda. Rezultat analize troškova sugerira da je analizirani proizvod realizirao dobit u trećoj godini proizvodnje, no posjeduje značajan potencijal za daljnjim povećanjem dobiti.
Abstract (english)
The product life cycle as a concept firstly originated in the 1950s. The life cycle concept allows the identification of four phases: the introduction phase, the growth phase, the maturity phase and the decline phase. Product life cycle cost analysis, as a modern method of strategic management, involves monitoring product costs during all the phases of the life cycle with an aim to assess the profitability and effectiveness of the product. Namely, the main goal of the analysis was to determine whether the total product revenues exceed the total costs incurred during the life cycle. In addition to all the advantages of the analysis, there is a potential lack of application, whereas more precise use of estimated costs may be inaccurate. Characteristic of this method is the largest accumulation of costs in the phase before the introduction of the product to the market, i.e., before it starts to generate profit. Likewise, a product life cycle cost analysis clearly indicates a period of reduced demand that allows a firm to react in a timely manner relative to competing products. Cost analysis is applied on the products of PVC Troplex d.o.o. The life cycle cost of a pvc column Φ80 / 2000 is analyzed using classical or Blanchard methods, in order to determine the profitability of its production. The cost elements of the analysis include product research and development costs, design and production costs, operating costs, production and product disposal costs, and the specificity of these analyses includes all costs during the product life cycle. The result of the cost analysis suggests that the product has already made a profit in the third year of production, but still has a significant potential for further profit increase.
