Abstract
Ovaj rad bavi se temom analize kreditnoga procesa unutar odabrane banke u Republici Hrvatskoj (mjereno imovinom i brojem klijenata) te značajem kreditnoga poslovanja za odabranu banku. Kreditno poslovanje sa stanovništvom je od velike važnosti za hrvatsko gospodarstvo, čemu svjedoči velika zaduženost građana te njezin konstantan rast koji se ipak nastoji umanjiti uvođenjem strožih zakonskih okvira i pravila banaka. Dva su temeljna aspekta ovoga rada. Teorijski aspekt daje uvid u obradu ključnih pojmova te zakonsku regulativu koja regulira rad kreditnih institucija, dok se istraživački aspekt bavi uvidom u odabranu banku, značajem kreditnoga poslovanja iste te analizom procesa odobrenja kredita. Odabrana banka bilježi konstantan rast kreditne aktivnosti i neto dobiti. Značaj kreditnoga poslovanja za odabranu banku važan je s obzirom da više od polovice ukupne strukture aktive banke čine krediti. Svrha rada je prikazati proces odobrenja kredita unutar odabrane banke te analizirati unaprjeđenje istoga. Uvidom u navedeni proces zaključeno je da unaprjeđenje procesa leži u poboljšanju softverskoga rješenja te ubrzanju elemenata procesa odobrenja kredita. Doprinos ovoga rada je u prikazu pojmova s kojima bi trebali biti upoznati svi koji se planiraju kreditno zadužiti jer je nedostatak informiranosti i financijske pismenosti građana u Republici Hrvatskoj važan izazov s kojim se treba suočiti.
Abstract (english)
This paper analyses loan approval process within a selected large bank in Croatia (measured by assets and number of clients) and the importance of loan operations for the selected bank. Retail lending is of great importance for the Croatian economy, as evidenced by the high indebtedness of citizens and its constant growth, which is still sought to reduce by introducing stricter legal frameworks and rules of banks. There are two fundamental aspects of this paper. The theoretical aspect provides insight into the processing of key terms and legislation governing the work of credit institutions, while the research aspect deals with insight into the selected bank, the importance of its loan operations and analysis of the loan approval process. The selected bank records a constant growth of loan activity and net profit. The importance of loan operations for the selected bank is important given that more than half of the total structure of the bank's assets are loans. The purpose of this paper is to show the loan approval process within the selected bank and to analyze its improvement. By reviewing the mentioned process, it was concluded that the improvement of the process lies in improving the software solution and speeding up the elements of the loan approval process. The contribution of this paper is to present terms that should be known to all who want to take out loans, as the lack of information and financial literacy of citizens in Croatia is an important challenge to face.
