Abstract
Zalihe su ublaživači ili tamponi između tokova ulaza i tokova izlaza materijalnih dobara. Zapravo predstavljaju kratkotrajnu materijalnu imovinu koja se drži radi prodaje u redovnom poslovanju ili u proizvodnji za tu prodaju. Nalaze se u cijelom lancu opskrbe. Kako bi poduzeće moglo normalno poslovati mora raspolagati sa određenom količinom zaliha. Međutim, u slučaju prevelikih zaliha, povećavaju se troškovi, dolazi do blokade obrtnih sredstava, potrebna su velika skladišta, i dr. S druge strane, ukoliko su zalihe premale u odnosu na potrebe postoji opasnost od prekida proizvodnje, djelatnosti poslovanja pa i same egzistencije poduzeća. Zato je ključno pitanje odrediti koja je optimalna količina zaliha i koje vrste zaliha treba držati na skladištu. Cilj je pronaći kompromis između za kupca zadovoljavajuće brzine reakcije i što nižeg troška za tvrtku. Upravljanje zalihama predstavlja sve aktivnosti potrebne kako bi se osigurala željena dostupnost proizvoda koja uz što niže troškove osigurava optimalno poslovanje poduzeća. Osnovni razlog zbog kojeg se zalihe javljaju je nepodudaranje ponude i potražnje. Pri upravljanju zaliha javlja se problem nedostatka zaliha, tzv. out of stock. Out of stock javlja se kada željeni proizvod nije dostupan ni da polici ni u skladištu. Posljedice out of stocka mogu dovesti do privremenog ili stalnog gubitka kupaca.
Abstract (english)
Inventories are buffers or tampons between input streams and output streams of material suppliers. In fact, they represent short-term tangible assets that are for sale in the ordinary course of business or production of products for sale. They are found throughout the supply chain. In order for a business to operate normally, it must dispose of certain quantities of inventories. However, in the case of oversupply, costs are increased, working capital is blocked, large warehouses are needed, etc. On the other hand, there is a remaining stock in relation to needs, there is a danger of interruption of production, business activities and the same existence of the company. Therefore, the key question is to determine what is the optimal amount of stock and what types of stock to keep in stock. The goal is to find trad offs between the customer that satisfy speed responses and lower costs for businesses. Inventory management represents all the necessary activities to ensure the availability of products that could ensure the optimal operation of the company. The main reason for unreported supply and demand. In inventory management, there is a problem of inventory shortages, the so-called not in stock. Not in stock, but when the product you want is not available in the police or in the warehouse. Out-of-stock consequences can lead to a temporary or permanent loss of customers.
