Abstract
Ovim radom se nastoji prikazati radni odnos sa stajališta kompenzacija. Kompenzacije se, kao ukupne nagrade koje pripadaju zaposlenicima za njihov obavljeni rad, dijele u dvije osnovne skupine, a to su materijalne i nematerijalne. Jedna od najznačajnijih materijalnih izravnih kompenzacija jest plaća, koje je bitna stavka ugovora o radu, jer u većini slučajeva potiče zaposlenika na prihvaćanje ili odbijanje radnoga odnosa. U radu se izdvajaju razlike novoga i staroga Zakona o radu, a kao najistaknutija se može navesti ta, da je novi Zakon o radu nastao kao rezultat brojnih izmjena i dopuna, tako da se danas sastoji od samo devet cjelina, dok se stari Zakon o radu sastojao od 25 glava. Rad je koncipiran u nekoliko cjelina, što je detaljnije prikazano u samom uvodu; na kraju je dan osvrt diplomskog rada u cjelini.

This paper aims to show employment from the standpoint of compensation. Compensation, as the total fees that belong to employees for their work done, divided into two main groups, namely the tangible and intangible. One of the most important material of direct compensation is paid, which is an important issue oft the employment contact, because in most cases encourages employees to accept or reject employment. The paper points out the differences of the new and old of the Labour Act, as the most prominent one can specify that the new labor law is the result of numerous amendments, so that it now consists of only nine units, while the old Labour Act consisted 25 heads. The work is divided into several sectoins, as detailed in the introduction, at the end od the day review od thesis as a whole.
