Abstract
U ovom radu biti će prikazana upotreba interneta kao medija oglašavanja. Internet je svjetska odnosno globalna mreža koja povezuje računalne mreže i mnoga računala na svjetskoj razini u jednu cjelinu s ciljem lakog pristupa raznim sadržajima i korištenja raznih usluga i servisa, kao što su elektronička pošta, www i slični. Internet označava globalnu kompjutersku mrežu koja omogućava trenutnu i decentraliziranu globalnu komunikaciju. Internet je najveća svjetska računalna mreža. Internet nije osmišljen na bazi centraliziranog upravljanja niti bilo kakve tehnološke implementacije ili pravila za pristup i uporabu, svaka mreža postavlja svoje vlastite standarde. Najznačajniji internetski servisi su World Wide Web i elektronička pošta. Razvojem interneta i njegovim masovnim korištenjem razvila se izvrsna platforma za različite mogućnosti oglašavanja. Nastao je velik broj vrlo različitih oblika oglašavanja putem interneta, a novi oblici ubrzano se razvijaju s tehnološko-tehničkim razvojem internetske mreže. Oglašavanje putem interneta poprima sve veće razmjere, zahvaljujući činjenici da internet prostor pruža složene multimedijske mogućnosti. Postoji velik broj oblika oglašavanja putem interneta, a najznačajnije oblike moguće je grupirati u nekoliko skupina: display oglašavanje, oglašavanje na tražilicama, kontekstualno oglašavanje, oglašavanje na društvenim mrežama, oglašivačke mreže, videooglašavanje, oglasnici, ostalo.

In this thesis it will be shown the usage of internet as a way of advertising. Internet is a worldwide, global network that connects computer networks and many computers on a world scale in one entity with a goal to have easy access to different content and usage of many different services like email, World Wide Web and etc. Internet means global computer network that makes possible instant and decentralized global communication. Internet is the biggest global computer network. Internet is not based on centralized managing or any other rule for access and usage. Every network makes their standards of managing. Most important internet services are World Wide Web and email. With internet development and mass usage of internet as a part of it, also gradually was developed advertising over the internet. Across the internet there was a mass development of many different ways of internet advertising. And every day with technological improvements they are still developing new ways of internet advertising. Advertising over the internet is every day getting bigger and more complex, thanks to internets many multimedia options of advertising. There are many ways of internet advertising and most used ways of internet advertising are divided in several groups: Display-advertising, Search engine advertising, Context advertising, Social media advertising, Advertising networks, Video advertising, Advertising sites, Other.
