Abstract
Stres je u zadnje vrijeme postao sve češći termin koji upotrebljavamo kako bismo objasnili kako se osjećamo. Ubrzani način života donosi nam velike probleme, velike obaveze, očekivanja, a uz to dolaze i velike količine stresa. Izloženi smo sve većim zahtjevima i odgovornostima, a za sve imamo sve kraće rokove ispunjavanja. Isto tako ponekad i sami sebi postavljamo previsoke ciljeve, koje je ponekad teško dosegnuti. Zahtjevi se povećavaju i to nas dovodi do stresa. Stres može biti glavni neprijatelj u postizanju čvrste kontrole nad našim vremenom. Pod stresom nemamo istu sposobnost jasnog razmišljanja i donošenja odluka kao kada nismo pod tim utjecajem, a jasno je da loše odluke vode samo dodatnom stresu i novim lošim odlukama. Ovim radom želim prikazati kako je stres jednostavno postao sastavni dio poslovanja i kako je vrlo važno naučiti prepoznati ga. Isto tako važno je znati kako se boriti i nositi se s istim. U radu ću pojasniti koje je zapravo značenje stresa, što opisuje taj pojam i kada se prvi puta upotrebljava kao termin za tegobu ili teškoću. Prikazati ću koji mogu biti uzroci i simptomi stresa te kakve vrste stresa poznajemo. Također, važno je znati da svaki pojedinac ima svoju individualnu reakciju na stres i svakoga stres pogađa na drukčiji način. Prikazati ću neke metode za upravljanje stresom, smanjenje stresa na radnom mjestu i strategije za borbu protiv stresa, a najvažnije od svega vidjeti ćemo i kako se stres može iskoristit na pozitivan način i isti okrenuti u vlastitu korist.
Abstract (english)
Stress has recently become more common term we use to explain how we feel. The rapid way of life brings us problems, responsibilities, expectations, and with it come the large amounts of stress. We are exposed to the growing demands and responsibilities, all in shorter periods. Also, sometimes even our own expectations are too high and difficult to reach. All this leads to stress. Stress can be a major enemy in achieving tight control over our time. Under stress, we do not have same ability to think clearly and make decisions as when we are not under the influence, but it is clear that bad decisions lead only to additional stress and new bad decisions. With this paper I want to demonstrate how stress became an integral part of the business and it is very important to learn to recognize it. Also it is important to know how to fight and deal with the same. In this paper, I will explain what is actually the meaning of stress, what this term describes and when is first used as a term of burden or difficulty. I will show causes and symptoms of stress and what type of stress we know. Also, it is important to know that each individual has their own response to stress and that stress affects everyone in a different way. I will show some methods for managing stress, reducing stress in the workplace and strategies to fight against stress, but most of all we will see how stress can be positive and how to turn it to our advantage.
