Abstract
Užurbanim načinom života ostaje sve manje vremena za formalno, dugotrajno i tromo obrazovanje koje je od velike važnosti u životu svakog pojedinca. Iako svaki građanin u Republici Hrvatskoj mora proći određeni stupanj formalnog obrazovanja, ono nije dovoljno kako bi se uspješno nosio s izazovima i preprekama na koje nailazi kroz život. Kako bi se omogućilo lakše i kvalitetnije koračanje kroz život, osim srednjoškolgkog ili visokoobrazovnog stupnja nerjetko se sve više pojedinaca odlučuje na neformalni oblik obrazovanja. Takav vid obrazovanja je zastupljeniji u zapadnoj Europi te skandinavskim zemljama u odnosu na Hrvatsku. No, kroz kvalitetno medijsko komuniciranje, postoji realna mogućnost da će hrvatski građani postati osvješteniji po pitanju važnosti cjeloživotnog, neformalnog obrazovanja koje vodi k boljitku kako zajednice, cijele države, tako i pojedinca. Neformalno obrazovanje postaje sve popularnije te ide u korak s trendovima koje tržište nameće, a provodi se sve češće kroz organizacije civilnog društva. Sveučilište Josip Juraj Strossmayer u Osijeku bogato je neprofitnim studentskim udrugama kroz čije se djelatnosti potiče stvaranje izvrsnosti studenata kroz izvannastavne aktivnosti. Jedna od Udruga pod Sveučilištem Josipa Juraja Strossmayera je Bookmark – udruga studenata marketinga koja je osnovana pri Katedri za marketing Ekonomskog fakulteta u Osijeku.

Busy lifestyles remains less time for formal, lengthy and cumbersome education is of great importance in the life of every individual. Although every citizen in the Republic of Croatia must pass a certain level of formal education, it is not enough to successfully cope with the challenges and obstacles encountered in life. In order to enable easier and better stride through life, except srednjoškolgkog or higher education degree seldom be more individuals decide to informal forms of education. This type of education is more common in Western Europe and the Scandinavian countries with regard to Croatia. However, through the media communication, there is a realistic possibility that Croatian citizens become more aware about the importance of lifelong, informal education that leads to the betterment of both communities, across the country, as well as the individual. Non-formal education is becoming increasingly popular, and keeps up with the trends of the market imposed and carried out more often through civil society organizations. Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek is rich in non-profit student organizations through whose activities helping to create the excellence of students through extracurricular activities. One of the Association under the University of Josip Juraj Strossmayer is the Bookmark - Students Association Marketing which was established in the Marketing Department of the Faculty of Economics in Osijek.
