Abstract Komunikacija je proces koji je sastavni dio života svih ljudi. Proces u kojemu sudjeluje svaki
čovjek svakodnevno. Važna je u privatnom i u poslovnom životu. Treba znati komunicirati,
prenositi i primati poruku. Glavna uloga komunikacije je slanje i primanje poruke, te pravilna
interpretacije onoga što nam drugi kažu. Važno je znati slušati druge, shvatiti njihove riječi i
stavove. U ovome radu će se govoriti o neverbalnoj komunikaciji, tj. o takozvanim neverbalnim
vještinama poput izraza lica, pokretu i položaju tijela, gestama, glasu, kontaktu očima i
vanjskom izgledu. Radi se zapravo o govoru tijela koji putem ovih znakova neverbalno
komunicira. Postoje kulturalne razlike u tumačenju ovih znakova. Neki ljudi će brže i
jednostavnije identificirati neverbalno ponašanje, odnosno poruku koju drugi šalju svojim
govorom tijela. Razrađene su poglavlja umijeće neverbalnog komuniciranja, komunikacijska
okolina i njezin utjecaj, karakteristike neverbalne komunikacije, prednosti i nedostaci ove vrste
komunikacije, njezino oblikovanje, njezine funkcije i neverbalna komunikacija u ljudskoj
interakciji. Svako od navedenih poglavlja zapravo dokazuje koliko je takva komunikacija važna
i koliko je važno znati komunicirati u trenutku kada su riječi suvišne. Također, najvažniji dio
rada su neverbalni znakovi kojima se ljudi koriste u interakciji. Dojam o nekome se ne stvara
samo na osnovu izgovorenih riječi, nego i na temelju govora tijela. Govor tijela govori puno
toga o čovjeku, dali je kulturan, pristupačan, iskren i samozatajan. Velike su razlike u govoru
tijela između muškaraca i žena. Neverbalna komunikacija kao nadopuna verbalnoj ima posebnu
važnost u situacijama kada se želi nekome prenijeti poruka.

business life. You should know how to communicate, transmit and receive a message. The main
role of communication is to send and receive a message, and to properly interpret what others
are saying. It is important to know how to listen to others, to understand their words and
attitudes. In this paper we will talk about nonverbal communication, that is, about so-called
nonverbal skills such as facial expression, movement and position of the body, gesture, voice,
eye contact, and external appearance. It is about the body language that communicates with
these characters unverifiable. There are cultural differences in the interpretation of these signs.
Some people will be quicker and simpler to identify non-verbal behavior, or message that others
send to their body language. The art of non-verbal communication, the communication
environment and its influence, the characteristics of nonverbal communication, the advantages
and disadvantages of this kind of communication, its design, its function and nonverbal
communication in human interaction have been elaborated. Each of these chapters demonstrates
how much communication is important and how important it is to know how to communicate
when words are redundant. Also, the most important part of the work are non-verbal signs that
people use in interaction. The impression of someone is not only based on spoken words, but
also based on body language. The body language speaks a lot about man, whether it is cultured,
accessible, honest, and self-sufficient. There are big differences in body language between men
and women. Non-verbal communication as a verbal supplement is of importance in situations
when someone wants to convey a message.
