The main objective of this paper is to inform about tourist potentials of Croatian tourism through the observation of hotel business. The basic concepts of tourism and hotels will be defined, the features and contribution of hotel tourism will be mentioned and why building and improving the hotel is an increasingly sought after tourist wish. Tourism in the Republic of Croatia has recorded growing revenue and arrivals for both foreign and domestic tourists each year. The hotel offer is an important segment of the overall tourist achievement and is one of the leading forms of accommodation and its popularity grows every year because many foreign and domestic investors are working to improve the overall tourist experience. Analysis and processing show current tourist arrivals information over the past two to three years, and it is obvious that the number increases. Only the number of arrivals at sea is increasing, as is the number of arrivals of tourists in continental Croatia, especially in Zagreb. These data confirm the fact that the Republic of Croatia has established and proved to be one of the best tourist destinations. The biggest proof of this fact is revenue in foreign currency where Croatia is ahead in front of other popular destinations in Europe.
