Abstract
Potreba za hranom je svakodnevna i neodgodiva pa je zato i tržište hrane jedna od političkih tema današnjice. Cilj svake države je da vlastitom proizvodnjom zadovoljava što veći dio svojih potreba, ali se pri tome često zaboravlja da konvencionalnom poljoprivrednom se zagađuje okoliš i sama hrana. Konvencionalna poljoprivreda se koristi umjetnim gnojivima, različitim kemijskim preparatima i strojevima, dok s druge strane ekološka poljoprivreda teži za što manjim brojem inputa. Ekološka poljoprivreda je takav oblik poljoprivredne proizvodnje koji se oslanja na upravljanje ekosustavom i pokušava smanjiti vanjske inpute poljoprivredne proizvodnje na minimum. U većini razvijenih zemalja pojam ekološke proizvodnje zakonski je reguliran, dok je u Republici Hrvatskoj ekološka proizvodnja službeno regulirana 2001. godine Zakonom o ekološkoj proizvodnji. Ekološka hrana nudi dodatnu sigurnost i zdraviju alternativu od konvencionalne hrane.
Abstract (english)
The need for food is daily and unpopular, so the food market is one of the political issues of today. The goal of each country is to meet most of its needs with its own production, but it often forgets that conventional agriculture is polluting the environment and the food itself. Conventional agriculture is used for artificial fertilizers, various chemical preparations and machines, while on the other hand ecological agriculture strives for as few inputs as possible. Ecological agriculture is such a form of agricultural production that relies on ecosystem management and is trying to reduce the external inputs of agricultural production to a minimum. In most developed countries, the term ecological production is legally regulated, while ecological production is officially regulated in the Republic of Croatia in 2001 by the Ecological Production Act. Ecological food offers an added safety and a healthier alternative to conventional food
