Abstract
Menadžment se, u cjelini gledano, odnosi na sposobnost obavljanja posla preko drugih ljudi i njegov cilj se tijekom godina mijenjao, ali u suštini je ostao isti. Kako se danas menadžment razlikuje od onog prije 30 godina, tako će se i menadžment u budućnosti razlikovati od ovog koji je poznat danas. Društvo kakvo poznajemo danas, ne bi moglo postojati niti napredovati bez stalnog priljeva menadžera koji vode organizacije. Novo doba donosi mnoge promjene, kao što je globalizacija koja za sobom povlači promjenjivu okolinu koja se iz lokalne pretvorila u globalnu. Upravo iz tog razloga dolazi do potrebe za promjenama u menadžerskim funkcijama koje su potaknule i razvoj interkulturalnog menadžmenta. U budućnosti će konkurencija biti sve veća, jača i raznolikija, a u skladu s tim menadžer budućnosti će morati biti inovativan, kreativan i prilagodljiv nadolazećim i sve bržim promjenama, a isto tako morati će se na najbolji mogući način nositi sa različitostima ljudi kojima će upravljati, te će morati biti sposoban upravljati krizom.

Management is, globally looking, reffering to the ability to carry out a job through other people and it's goal has been changing over the years, but in the essence, it remained the same. How does management today differ from the one 30 years ago, so the management in the future may differ from the one known today. Society as we know it today could not exist or flourish without constant inflow of managers who run the organizations. The new age inflows many changes such as globalization which draws changeable environment which turned from local to global. For this reason there is a need for changes in the management functions that have prompted the development of intercultural management. Competition will be, in the future, larger and stronger and accordingly, managers will have to be innovative, creative and adjustable in fast changes, and be able to deal with the different kind of people he runs in the most appropriate way in the times of crisis.
