Supply chain management is a well-known term in the modern business world. This concept is typical for the manufacturing sector and can be grateful to innovations in this industry for its breakthrough on other sectors of the economy. However, transformation of SCM to other industries is not easy because of the different characteristics of individual industries. So it is with the construction industry whose specific project-driven business don't give much opportunities to „rewrite“ from the manufacturing industry. The interaction between many participants on a construction business map and the integration of their work processes is of crucial importance if they want to satisfy an increasingly demanding customer, the ultimate one. Companies need to share useful information and knowledge, learn from each other, in order to get the more than necessary innovations to compete in the open market as it is today's. As the project is created and then executed, continuous cooperation between the participants is hampered, because every company is turning to new projects after the execution of the previous project and so in the circle. Demanding kind of business like this one affect strong on a small, narrowly specialized companies that appear in the supply chain as subcontractors. They, although providing some expertise in carrying out their work, are not fully involved in project design and value design that the end customer expects. One such company is Geo Tim d.o.o., which operates on the market of Republic of Croatia, will be treated as a topic in this graduate thesis.
