Abstract
Suvremeno poslovanje nezamislivo je bez postojanja računovodstvenih informacijskih sustava i korištenja informacijske i telekomunikacijske tehnologije. Pravovremena i kvalitetna informacija za management predstavlja bitan faktor prilikom donošenja odluka. Specifičnosti računovodstvenih informacijskih sustava omogućuju adaptiranje različitim situacijama i uvjetima poslovne organizacije. Pred managere su postavljeni brojni izazovi prilikom implementiranja i korištenja računovodstvenih informacijskih sustava. Prednosti koje nose računovodstveni informacijski sustavi su ključne u vođenju poslovne organizacije na globalnoj, ali i lokalnoj razini. Pretpostavka je da se korištenjem ovih sustava smanjuju troškovi ulaganja i stvara učinkovita organizacija, ali isto tako moramo biti svjesni opasnosti i rizika koji se nameću kroz promjene u suvremenom poslovanju. Kroz ovaj rad će se definirati oba sustava i ukazati na važnost njihove povezanosti. Detaljnije će se govoriti o podsustavima koji su međusobno povezani i o uzročno-posljedičnoj vezi ako nastupi zatajenje ili kvar informacijskog sustava.
Abstract (english)
Modern business is unthinkable without the existence of accounting information systems and use of information and telecommunication technology. Timely and quality information for management is an important factor in making decisions. The specifics of accounting information systems allow adaptation to different situations and conditions of business organization. Numerous challenges have been posed to managers during the implementation and use of accounting information systems. The benefits provided by accounting information systems are key to managing a business organization globally as well as locally. The assumption is that using these systems will reduce investment costs and create an efficient organization, but we also need to be aware of the dangers and risks that arise through changes in modern business. Through this work, both systems will be defined and the importance of their relationship will be highlighted. More detail will be given about the subsystems that are interconnected and the cause-and-effect relationship in case of a failure or malfunction of the information system.
