Abstract
Današnja tehnologija neusporediva je sa sporom tehnologijom prošlog stoljeća. Svijetom je „zavladala“ tehnologija koja ima zadatak učiniti ljudima život ugodnijim i jednostavnijim. Danas nam računalo pruža puno mogućnosti, a među ostalim pomaže u komunikaciji i razmjeni podataka. Dakle, informacijska tehnologija i njezina primjena postaje sve značajnijim elementom u postizanju konkurentnosti i efikasnog poslovanja suvremenih tvrtki. Hrvatska poslovna praksa primjenom informacijskih tehnologija nažalost značajno zaostaje za poslovnim primjerima uspješnih tvrtki u razvijenim zemljama. Dostupnost komunikacija osnovno je pravo svakog pojedinca, a tehnologija je sredstvo koje pojedincima omogućava to pravo. Informacijsko-komunikacijska tehnologija temelji se na širokopojasnom internetu, mobilnosti i računarstvu u oblaku. Može se reći da sposobnost uspješnog upravljanja informacijskom tehnologijom polako prerasta u jednu od glavnih strateških prednosti brojnih tvrtki.
Abstract (english)
Today's technology is unparalleled with the slow technology of the last century. The world is "overwhelmed" by technology that has the task of making life more enjoyable and simpler. The computer offers a lot of possibilities, among other things, it helps to communicate and exchange data. Therefore, information technology and its application becomes an increasingly important element in achieving competitiveness and efficient business operations of modern companies. Unfortunately, Croatia's business practice with the use of information technology is significantly lagging behind for business examples of successful companies in developed countries. The availability of communication is the basic right of every individual, and technology is a means to give individuals the right. Information and communication technology is based on broadband internet, mobility and computing in the cloud. It can be said that the ability of successful information technology management is slowly transformed into one of the major strategic advantages of many companies.
