Abstract
Živimo u 21. stoljeću kada se poljoprivreda uvelike usmjerava prema potrebama tržišta. Poljoprivreda u Hrvatskoj ima višestoljetnu tradiciju, posebice u kontinentalnim dijelovima. Kod poljoprivrede vrlo važnu ulogu ima poljoprivredno tržište. Na poljoprivrednom se tržištu susreću poljoprivredna ponuda i poljoprivredna potražnja koje uvelike ovise o željama i potrebama potrošača. Danas se u Hrvatskoj javljaju proizvodni kapaciteti i proizvodni rezultati koji mogu ostvariti potrebe za prehrambenim proizvodima. Unatoč navedenom, u Hrvatskoj se javljaju poražavajući podaci o uvozu poljoprivrednih proizvoda, koji su često upitne kvalitete. Najbolji je primjer takvog proizvoda meso, iako se na području Republike Hrvatske javlja velik uzgoj svinja, goveda, peradi i drugih životinja.
Abstract (english)
We live in the 21st century when agriculture is largely geared towards the needs of the market. Agriculture in Croatia has a multitude of traditions, especially in continental parts. Agriculture plays an important role in the agricultural market. On the agricultural market, agricultural offer and agricultural demand are largely dependent on the wishes and needs of consumers. Today, production capacities and production outcomes in Croatia can meet the needs of food products. Despite the aforementioned, data on imports of agricultural products, which are often of questionable quality, occur in Croatia. The best example of such a product is meat, though large breeding of pigs, cattle, poultry and other animals occurs in the territory of the Republic of Croatia.
