Abstract
Završni rad bavi se problemom privatizacije, na primjeru INA-e, koja je jedna od najvećih kompanija privatiziranih u Republici Hrvatskoj. Rad ponajprije objašnjava što su javna poduzeća, koja im je uloga, zašto se uopće privatiziraju i zašto ne. Zatim govori općenito o privatizaciji i njenim počecima u Europi, te o njenim počecima u Republici Hrvatskoj. Poviješću INA-e i najosnovnijim podacima o INA-i rad započinje priču o privatizaciji INA-e. Kronološki se prikazuju postupci privatiziranja INA-e od trenutka samostalnosti Republike Hrvatske sve do danas. Na kraju rada riječ je o potencijalnim scenarijima u slučaju INA-e, čija je budućnost vrlo neizvjesna.
Abstract (english)
This paper gives an overview of privatization based on example of INA, one of the largest privatized companies in the Republic of Croatia. The paper outlines the role of public enterprises and the reasons for their privatization. Further, privatization and its roots in Europe are described along with the beggining of privatization in the Republic of Croatia. Additionally, by presenting the history of INA and basic information about the company, the paper starts to unravel the case of INA's privatization. The procedure of privatization of INA is chronologically described from the independance of Republic of Croatia untill this day. Lastly, the uncertain future of INA is reviewed through potential scenarios that could arise from its situation.
