Abstract
Feredoksin NADP+ oksidoreduktaza (FNR) je enzim koji sudjeluje u fotosintezi, a katalizira reakciju prijenosa elektrona sa feredoksina na molekulu NADP+. Lisne izoforme ovog proteina se međusobno razlikuju po svojoj strukturi i smještaju u kloroplastu. FNR se veže u komplekse sa proteinima Tic62 i TROL. Tic62 stabilizira FNR u razdobljima tame dok protein TROL stabilizira prijenos elektrona pod utjecajem jakog osvjetljenja. U ovom radu, transformacijom biljke Arabidopsis thaliana dobit će se mutante koje proizvode protein FNR1 iz kukuruza, za kojeg je pokazano da najefikasnije veže protein TROL. Biljke će se koristiti za utvrđivanje dinamike stvaranja kompleksa između proteina FNR i TROL te utjecaj tih kompleksa na učinkovitost fotosinteze u C3 biljkama

Ferredoxin NADP+ oxidoreductase (FNR) is an enzyme that catalyze the transfer of electrons from Ferredoxin onto the NADP+ molecule. The FNR leaf isoforms adopt different structures and localization inside chloroplast. FNR forms thylakoid protein complexes with two proteins, TROL and Tic62, respectively. Tic62 stabilizes FNR during dark periods, whereas TROL stabilizes the FNR electron transfer during high light conditions. In this research, the transformation of Arabidopsis thaliana plants will produce the mutant line overexpressing the maize FNR1 protein, which showed the most efficient TROL binding. Plants will be used to determine the dynamic formation of FNR1-TROL protein complexes and its effect on photosynthesis in C3 plants.
