Abstract
Mala vodena leća (Lemna minor L.) izložena je djelovanju bisfenola A u hranjivoj otopini. Uspoređeno je djelovanje BPA u koncentracijama od 10, 20, 50 i 100 mg/L. Tretman L. minor s BPA pokazao se toksičan za biljku, što je rezultiralo promjenama u prirastu broja biljaka, akumulaciji svježe mase, koncentraciji fotosintetskih pigmenata i proteina te aktivnosti antioksidacijskih enzima koji su ekotoksikološki molekularni biomarkeri za pojavu oksidativnog stresa. L. minor često se koristi kao modelni organizam u standardnim ekotoksikološkim testovima.
Abstract (english)
Common duckweed (Lemna minor L.) plants were treated with bisphenol A in a nutrient solution. The effect of BPA in concentrations of 10, 20, 50 and 100 mg/L was compared. Treatment of L. minor with BPA proved to be toxic to the plant which resulted in changes in plant growth, fresh mass accumulation, concentration of photosynthetic pigments and proteins, as well as the activity of antioxidant enzymes, ecotoxicological biomarkers of oxidative stress. L. minor is often used as a model species in standard ecotoxicological tests.
