Abstract
Nanočestice magnetita izazivaju veliko zanimanje u svijetu znanosti zahvaljujući karakteristikama koje im omogućavaju korištenje u različitim znanstvenim područjima, posebno medicine i farmacije. Konvencionalne metode sinteze ovih nanočestica pokazale su se uspješne, no skupe su, dugotrajne i komplicirane, stoga se pokušavaju zamijeniti zelenijim metodama upotrebom zelenih otapala i biljnih ekstrakta. U ovom radu sintetizirane su nanočestice magnetita iz željezovih soli pomoću niskotemperaturnih eutektičkih otapala na bazi kolin-klorida, biljnih ekstrakata i ekstrakata makroalgi dobivenih primjenom GRAS (eng. Generally Recognized As Safe) otapala. Dobivenim ekstraktima ispitana je antiradikalna aktivnost DPPH metodom te ukupni udio fenola, dok su dobivene nanočestice okarakterizirane odgovarajućim tehnikama.
Abstract (english)
Magnetite nanoparticles have gained great interest in scientific field due to their properties because of which they can be used in different scientific fields, especially in medicine and pharmacy. Conventional methods of synthesis have been shown as successful, but they are expensive, long term and complicated, therefore they are being replaced by greener methods by using green solvents and plant extracts. In this thesis magnetite nanoparticles have been synthesized from iron salts using choline chloride deep eutectic solvents, plant and macroalgae extract prepared using GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) solvents. The prepared extracts were tested for antiradical activity by DPPH method and total fenol content, while synthesized magnetite nanoparticles were characterized by application of appropriate techniques.
