Abstract
Istraživanje vertikalne distribucije fitoplanktona u Sakadaškom jezeru provedeno je u proljetnom razdoblju od ožujka do svibnja 2012. godine. Praćen je utjecaj promjena fizikalno-kemijskih čimbenika vode na kvantitativni sastav fitoplanktona grupirajući vrste prema morfo-funkcionalnoj klasifikaciji. Termalna stratifikacija, te miješanje vodenih slojeva utjecali su na vrijednosti ostalih fizikalno-kemijskih čimbenika u vertikalnim slojevima vode. Opadanje biomase fitoplanktona od površine prema dnu jezera bilo je uzrokovano smanjenjem temperature vode i količine svjetlosti u vertikalnom stupcu vode, dok su u uvjetima miješanja vode vrijednosti biomase bile najveće u pridnenim slojevima. U sezonskim sukcesijama fitoplanktona ističe se dominacija vrsta Cryptomonas spp., Synura uvella te Dinobryon divergens u ožujku, a zajednica dijatomeja (vrste roda Nitzschia, Stephanodiscus, Tabularia, Tryblionella i Ulnaria) u travnju i u svibnju. Mogu se definirati sljedeće sukcesije funkcionalnih skupina: Y, WS, E C, D i TB. Pojava vrlo heterogene fitoplanktonske zajednice s malom biomasom utvrđena u svibnju može se okarakterizirati kao faza čiste vode. Iako je Sakadaško jezero relativno plitko jezero, dobiveni rezultati ukazuju na izraženu vertikalnu distribuciju fitoplanktona.

Investigation of the vertical distribution of phytoplankton in Lake Sakadaš was done in spring period from March to May 2012. The influence of physico-chemical parameters on quantitative phytoplankton composition was investigated and species were grouped according to morpho-functional classification. The physico-chemical parameters of lake water were altered due to the thermal stratification established in March and April as well as by water column mixing in May. Water temperature and light were the main factors causing the decrease in phytoplankton biomass from the surface to the bottom of the lake in March and April, while the highest biomass values were established in bottom layers in May. The seasonal succession of phytoplankton was dominated by Cryptomonas spp., Synura uvella and Dinobryon divergens in March, and Nitzschia, Stephanodiscus, Tabularia, Tryblionella and Ulnaria in April and May. The sequence of phytoplankton functional groups can be summarized as Y, WS, E C, D and TB. The development of the heterogeneous community with low biomass in May can be characterized as the clear water phase. Although the Lake Sakadaš is relatively shallow, gained results show that the vertical distribution of phytoplankton is well pronounced depending on the influence of the physico-chemical factors.
